Lahiri’s form drops at LIV Golf UK event

Anirban Lahiri is on the brink of securing his spot for next LIV Golf season

Following his 2nd place finish at the previous LIV event in Spain, after a week’s break, Anirban Lahiri, experienced a drop in form as he could only finish 39th with rounds of 69-72-73 at the LIV Golf UK played at JCB Golf & Country Club near Birmingham.

With this result, Lahiri lies at 17th in the LIV Golf individual season rankings and with only two events left—LIV Golf Greenbrier (Aug. 16-18) and LIV Golf Dallas (Sep. 13-15)—he has virtually retained his place on the super-lucrative LIV Tour for the 2025 season.

Lahiri’s team, Crushers GC, captained by Bryson DeChambeau finished tied-3rd with Brooks Koepka’s Smash GC Team, both shooting total scores of 20-under par.

Last week, Lahiri narrowly missed winning both the individual and team titles after three-putting from five feet on the final green and going on to a playoff defeat to 2017 Masters champion Sergio Garcia.
